Switching Gears

A new need for speed game, something we haven’t seen in quite some time.

“Need for speed: shift” is going to be a cross between the traditional need for speed game and grand theft auto. In my opinion this is not a step in the right direction, the problem I see is that need for speed is a racing game, whether it be racing the clock, racing your opponents or racing blacklists. With this new game you are out of the car and running from the cops. However you do not control your character, instead, you press the buttons that come up on the screen so when you jump press a or you take a startling fall.

This is not going to do the franchise justice. The best course of action would be to reboot the greatest nfs of all time, need for speed most wanted.

A Year Of Three

This year, I am very surprised to see all the threes that have emerged at E3. In my first post I will give my thoughts about the games i know.

Let's start with the game I am most excited about, Modern Warfare 3 is releasing in november of this year. as i am sure is the same with most of the gaming community i have pre-ordered it. this is a major event for me. i was thrilled when i first got mw2 (last year) even though i was a little late to the wild world of cod, i still was an absolute psyco for the game. when i found out that mw3 was finaly coming out, i practicly jumped for joy and pre-ordered it that week.

many people have been saying that battlefield 3 is going to completely desimate mw3, and that it is the best thing since sonic for the sega (but thats another post entirely). i have to disagree, although i can't make an acurate judgement because i only played battlefield 1, which i did not enjoy.

when i heard about mass effect three i just kind of groaned, i had no intrest in it. when i tried to play the first mass effect i instantly got bored took out the game and didn't play it again.

uncharted is, unfortuanatly, a ps3 exclusive game. i have an xbox 360 and would not trade it for the world, but if i had a ps3 uncharted would be a game that would deserve a play.

so, this is what i think of the three's, the most important one, in my opinion, is mw3.
